ACR30D

ACR30D is an extension of ACR30 series based on AC1030 chip. This device supports multiple interfaces, multiple reader devices and relevant security standards.

Many systems operators face the problem of knowing which type of PC connection the end-user needs, either Serial or USB. ACR30D overcomes this problem by being compliant with both standards and can be provided with serial and USB cables depending on customers need. The power of this reader is automatically reconfigure the way it communicates by simply inserting either cable.

Good for various parties such as :

• End user who may use the serial interface today and may switch to USB interface as they upgrade the PC

• End user who may use the reader for more than one PC

• Good for system operators and application provider who distribute readers to user without knowing which interface a customer wants and finds it costly to ask

Easy installation :

• If you plug in the USB interface, the USB interface will be activated

• If you plug in the serial interface, the serial interface will be activated

• If you plug in both interfaces, the default interface is serial interface

• Read and write all microprocessor cards (MCU) with T=0, T=1 protocols

• Read and write most of the popular memory card types in the market:

• ACR30 certificate of conformance: ISO 7816-1/2/3, PC/SC, CE, FCC, Microsoft WHQL, EMV certified, and NETS

• ISO7816-1/2/3 compatible smart card interface 

• Support PPS (Protocol and Parameters Selection) with 9600 - 96000 bps in reading and writing smart cards

• RS-232 interface or USB interface to PC with simple command structure
  ISO 7816-1/2/3 and PC/SC Compliant

• Interface library for efficient PC application software development

• Compatible with most PC platforms: Windows 98, ME, NT, 2000 and XP, Linux
